Arnolfini Histories Conference - National Gallery, London - 12-13 January 2018

In conjunction with the current National Gallery exhibition Reflections: Van Eyck and the Pre-Raphaelites, an international two-day conference 'Arnolfini Histories: Jan van Eyck’s Arnolfini Portrait and its Receptions' will take place at the National Gallery from Friday 12 to Saturday 13 January.  The conference is convened by Prof. Liz Prettejohn (University of York) and Dr Claire Yearwood; and two current University of York MA students Christin Neubauer and Charlotte Hone will present a joint paper in the post-graduate panel 'Arnolfini Things'.

Keynote speakers are Prof. Tim Barringer (Yale and Honorary Visiting Professor, University of York) and Prof. Cordula Grewe (Indiana University).
