It was overseen by Professor Liz Prettejohn (University of York) and edited by PhD student Madeline Boden, who also wrote the Introduction.

Contents include four illustrated sections by University of York post-graduate students, as well as a chronology of the artist’s life:

‘Albert Moore and the Politics of the Nude in A Venus (1869)’ by Rebecca Mellor
‘Eclectic Influence in Moore’s Painting Process and Technique’ by Mariko Hirabayashi

‘Thinking Modern Composition and Theories of Abstraction in Beads (1875)’ by Samantha Niederman

The booklet was available free of charge to visitors to the exhibition.
