Symposium - Piet Mondrian in the Round (2014)
In conjunction with the Mondrian and his Studios exhibition at Tate Liverpool, 10 June 2014
The symposium 'Piet Mondrian in the Round' on 10 June 2014 was convened by the Architectural History and Theory Research School to complement the exhibition Mondrian and His Studios, which ran at Tate Liverpool from 6th June to 5th October 2014 and was co-curated by Professor Michael White of the University of York; the Artistic Director of Tate Liverpool, Francesco Manacorda (Artistic Director at Tate Liverpool); and Tate Liverpool Assistant Curator Eleanor Clayton.
As well as Professor White from the UK, the speakers came together from Holland and the US: Dr Hans Janssen (Gemeentemuseum Den Haag), Professor Nancy Troy (Stanford University) and Professor Marek Wieczorek (University of Washington).
